Environmental stewardship includes protection of Tennessee’s air, water, and soil resources. Extension programs in this area focus on the development and delivery of educational programs for producers, landowners, homeowners, and local and state leaders that promote the responsible use and protection of our natural resources through conservation and environmentally sustainable practices.
Our teams work specifically in the areas of crop nutrient stewardship, energy conservation, pesticide safety education and youth STEM.
